In 1875, the Denver YMCA was formed to help strengthen the growing community. Today, the cause hasn't changed, with programs and services that bring people together and equalize opportunity for health, wellness, and achievement. For over 140 years, the Denver Y has evolved to address changing needs of a growing, dynamic population.

Celebrating this milestone year meant exploring the past and highlighting the present. Historic photos and publications set against the Y's vibrant colors celebrate all the organization has achieved in both the past and present. Large-scale acrylic and vinyl mural installations connect members and participants to the Y's history, while advertising in Denver's Light Rail System built awareness for the role it has played and continues to play in Denver.
