Helping members and guests safely return to the Y after lockdowns necessitated the creation of specialized materials. To acclimate our community to a new normal, I wrote and designed posters for how and when to mask up, floor decals for social distancing, and wall decals to welcome people back to the Y. Humor and heart uplifted and educated during a time when positivity was scarce. These materials also helped the Y remain compliant with CDC guidelines, as well as local mask and safety laws. On social media, these graphics were shared by several Ys across the US and generated some of the highest engagement to date on the Denver YMCA's Instagram.
