When learning is fun, the message is more likely to stick. That's why the 2016 Safety Around Water campaign centered around a coloring book staring Sam and his friends - local kids that need help learning how to stay safe around pools, lakes, rivers, and oceans. Coupled with facility signage and subsidized water safety programs throughout the city, this initiative aimed to keep more children out of harm's way in the summer and all year long.
